Cookies
Our approach to cookies.
This policy explains how KCL uses cookies. In short: we use only the cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work — no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make websites work, and to remember information such as whether you are signed in.
- 02
How we use cookies
We take a deliberately minimal approach. This website does not use cookies to analyse traffic, build advertising profiles, or track you across other sites. We do not embed third-party marketing or analytics scripts. The only cookies we set are strictly necessary for a specific function to work.
- 03
The cookies we set
We use a single strictly necessary cookie, and only for staff:
- Staff session cookie — set only when a member of KCL staff signs in to the secure tracker area. It keeps that person signed in for the duration of their session, holds no personal profile, and expires on its own. It is not set for ordinary visitors browsing the public website.

Managing cookies
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not show a consent banner — none is required for cookies that are essential to a service you have asked for. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that blocking the essential cookie above will prevent staff from signing in to the tracker area.

Changes and contact
If we ever introduce additional cookies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. Questions can be sent to info@kclearning.org.
